EKA Mobility, GreenCell win LOA for 915 electric buses in Hyderabad
EKA Mobility, in consortium with GreenCell Mobility, has been awarded a Letter of Award (LOA) for the supply and deployment of 915 electric buses in Hyderabad. The project will be implemented under the Government of India’s CESL-led PM E-DRIVE (Electric Drive Revolution in Innovative Vehicle Enhancement) scheme.
The order includes 100 nine-meter buses and 815 twelve-meter standard-floor non-AC electric buses for urban transport operations.

The LOA follows earlier awards secured by EKA Mobility under CESL’s PM E-Bus Seva initiative for deployments across Rajasthan, Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, Puducherry, and Meghalaya. The PM E-DRIVE scheme is a Government of India initiative focused on the adoption of electric vehicles, domestic manufacturing, and reduction of urban emissions.
Mr. Rohit Srivastava, Business Head & Chief Growth Officer, EKA Mobility, said, “Securing this LOA for 915 electric buses is a strong endorsement of our technology and execution capabilities. We are proud to contribute to Hyderabad’s transition toward cleaner, smarter urban transport in alignment with the Government of India’s PM E‑DRIVE vision.”
EKA (Pinnacle Mobility Solutions Pvt. Ltd.), with Mitsui & Co., Ltd. (Japan) and VDL Groep (Netherlands) as equity partners, operates in the automotive and technology sector, focusing on electric commercial vehicle solutions.
