Ultraviolette unveils F77 Mach 2 electric motorcycle at INR 2.99 lakh

Bangalore-based electric 2-wheeler manufacturer Ultraviolette has launched the F77 Mach 2, an electric motorcycle, with an introductory price of INR 2,99,000 for the first 1,000 buyers. The company aims to accelerate electric vehicle adoption through its Carbon Farewell Fund initiative.

As per the official statement, the F77 Mach 2 offers various features including Dynamic Stability Control (DSC), 10 levels of Regenerative Braking, a 3-level Traction Control System, and an IDC range of 323 km. It boasts 30 kW (40.2 hp) motor with 100 Nm of peak torque, supported by a 10.3 kWh battery pack. Achieving acceleration from 0 to 60 km/hr in 2.8 seconds and reaching a top speed of 155 km/hr. The Hill Hold feature ensures stability when stationary without continuous brake application. Additionally, Smart Connectivity features like Anti-Collision Warning System (ACWS), Fall and Towing Alerts, and Delta Watch add to its appeal.

Speaking on the launch of the Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2, Narayan Subramaniam, CEO  & Co-Founder, Ultraviolette said, “The Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2 represents a significant leap forward in our mission to superior and futuristic mobility solutions. As per the company statement, optional packages for the F77 Mach 2 include the Performance Pack, which enhances performance and safety, and VIOLETTE A.I., providing advanced connectivity features. The F77 Mach 2 is initially priced at ₹2,99,000 for the first 1,000 customers, with the higher-range F77 Mach 2 Recon available at ₹3,99,000. Ultraviolette offers extended warranty packages for customer satisfaction, introduced an 8 years / 800,000 km battery and drivetrain warranty for the F77, which is now extended to the F77 Mach 2 Recon. These warranty packages, namely UV Care, UV Care+, and UV Care Max, provide comprehensive coverage for customers. Available in 9 color themes, bookings commenced on April 24, 2024, in 15 Indian cities with deliveries scheduled to begin in May 2024.
