MATTER opens pre-bookings for its electric motorbike

MATTER, an Ahmedabad based EV OEM, has opened pre-bookings for its electric motorbike, MATTER AERA. The introductory price of the bikes starts at INR 1,43,999. Here are the details of the electric motorcycle and pre-booking benefits:

MATTER AERA specifications

MATTER AERA comes with 4-speed hyper-shift gears that enable acceleration from 0 to 60 kmph in under 6 seconds. It offers a mileage of 25 paise per kilometre. The bike has a liquid-cooled battery and powertrain to manage heat. With a single charge, the MATTER AERA provides a range of 125 km. Its onboard 5-amp charging system allows users to charge the bike using any 5-amp plug. The vehicle is equipped with a 7-inch touchscreen display that provides internet connectivity and enables a range of connected experiences for the rider.

Pre-booking: Customers can pre-book the MATTER AERA starting from May 17th on matter.in, flipkart.com, or otocapital.in.

Pre-booking Availability: Pre-bookings will be open in 25 cities and districts across the country. The cities and districts include Hyderabad, Vishakhapatnam, Vijayawada, Krishna, Bengaluru, Mysore, Chennai, Coimbatore, Madurai, Mumbai, Navi-Mumbai, Thane, Raigad, Pune, Nagpur, Nasik, Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Surat, Vadodara, Jaipur, Indore, Delhi NCR, Patna, Lucknow, Kanpur, Guwahati, Kamrup, Kolkata, Bhubaneshwar, Cuttack, and Kordha.

Special Price Benefits:

• The first 9,999 pre-bookings will receive a special price benefit of Rs 5,000. Customers can pre-book the MATTER AERA at Rs 1,999.
• From 10,000 pre-bookings to 29,999 pre-bookings, customers will receive a special benefit of Rs 2,500. The pre-booking price during this phase will be Rs 2,999.
• After 30,000 pre-bookings, the pre-booking price will be Rs 3,999.

Refundable Pre-booking: The pre-booking amount is fully refundable in case of cancellation.

The pre-bookings will be followed by test drives offered at Matter Experience Centres before the final delivery, a company statement said.
