Flash Electronics partners with Slovenia-based GEM motors

Pune-based Flash Electronics India has partnered with Slovenia’s GEM Motors for advanced modular multiphase hub motor technology.

– Partnership with GEM Motors caters to EV segments, in the range of 1 kW to 15 kW, for hub motors with integrated controllers using advanced modular multiphase motor technology.

– FLASH says that it is the first company in India to have an extensive and robust range of electric vehicle motors from 1 kW to 540 kW, catering to a smaller electric two-wheeler to a larger electric bus.

The partnership will accelerate the shift to sustainable mobility with innovation-driven differentiation for our customer’s mobility requirements. This is Flash electronics’ second strategic international partnership within a span of three months, which aims to strengthen its expertise in the EV domain. Back in Nov 2022, Flash announced a partnership with Poland-based Elimen Group to develop and manufacture traction motors and controllers ranging from 2W, 3W to passenger and commercial vehicles, including electric buses with up to 300 kW applications.

Flash currently has FLASH has 6 manufacturing plants across India, Germany & Hungary.
